The plot in the movie revolves around the drama when Anora’s (Mikey Madison) life takes a turn as she carelessly marries the son of a Russian mafia, i.e., Vanya Zakharov. They decided to tie the knot on a ketamine-fueled Las Vegas getaway, which led to chaos. After their marriage, Vanya’s father, infuriated by their marriage, sent henchmen after them to force an annulment, fabricating scenes of comedy and tension. The movie scouts themes of love, rapid decisions, and difference in class, all while offering a glimpse of the lives of sex workers, immigrants. The storyline is balanced with societal expectations, and mostly with the unpredictability of relationships.
